Cathy, Susan, and Saulius, Thank you for letting me know you care with your comments. It will be five years on May 6th since my first treatment for Metastatic BC. I feel incredibly lucky.
After 6 months of fight with MBC (my wife being 33 years old was diagnosed de novo, we have a small 3 year old boy), I know that you had to be not only lucky but also very wise, bright, determined, life-loving and willing to learn in order to be where you are now. I am not saying that others who lost these battles didn't do or were not the same but what I am saying is that you yourself earned it and that you should be very very proud of that. To add to this... I am very thankful that such blog exist. It is an example of extraordinary human strength and will, an example to all of us.
Wonderful!!! Keeping on keeping on! I'm now on a once a year visit schedule to UNC... T-Dm1 clinical trial for stage 1 Her2+++.... Keep it going !!!!!! Maggie in Wilmington
Maggie, so good to hear from you again! And, it is so good to find you well. I hope TDM-1 makes it a reality that you never have to deal with this disease ever again.
