For every scan I go through, I practice the same routine of how I will handle bad news. Today, all that practicing wasn’t necessary. I got great news!
Next scan in another 6 months.
Yea! I am pretty flipping happy.

Woo Hoo! So happy for you!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Susan! Hope all is well with you in Canada.
DeleteCongratulations!I liked the statement by Ann (ButDoctorIHatePink) in one of her topics: "We don't have new statistics as we haven't reached the end cycle of the studies. I may have a relapse and die, as several long-term friends sadly have, or I may be on the leading edge of a new wave of Stage 4 Survivors." This gives so much hope...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Saulius! Wish Ann posted on her blog more often, but I do catch her thoughts on her Facebook page. And, I am also hoping to be one of the people who are among "a new wave of Stage 4 Survivors".
DeleteDear Lisa,
DeleteI would say... you already are among those people. With so much knowledge, advocacy for yourself, and so much inspiration for others. Who else if not you!
Sincerely,
Saulius
Hooray!
